Hazardous Waste Management

The jewel in the crown of all UCCI completed projects. This project was envisaged to ensure that the hazardous industrial waste generated by various polluting industries which up to then were left untreated, now through the Common Hazardous Waste Treatment, Storage and Disposal Facility had an effective and easily accessible option to manage their hazardous waste.

This project piloted by UCCI from its inception in 1998 till its commissioning in 2006 was professionally handled and that the Supreme Court appointed subcommittee monitoring the project had classifid this facility as A+ category and appreciated the joint efforts of GOR, RSPCB and UCCI for successfully evolving an exemplary private-public partnership model which speaks volumes of the dedication of those involved. Today 796 industries located in different districts of Rajasthan are registered as members using this facility on a regular basis.

Become Hazardous Waste Management Member

We request you to kindly submit the Application with a covering letter on your Company’s Letter Head duly signed by the Director, with seal of company.

To be granted the membership, you are also requested to fill up the enclosed Industrial Waste Survey questionnaire (every page of questionnaire should be signed by the Director/Proprietor of the Co.) and submit the same along with the following documents:

  1. Application letter on your Company’s Letter Head duly signed by the Director / Proprietor, with seal of company.
  2.   2 Demand Drafts for Registration Fees as specified below in clause (A) and (B)
  3. CA certificate verifying your business turnover.
  4. Copy of authorization letter granted by RSPCB for collection & storage of hazardous waste generated at your works (and/or) a copy of consent granted by RSPCB to Operate / Establish under Air & Water Act.
  5. An Undertaking (draft enclosed) duly attested by a Notary, printed on a Non-judicial stamp paper of Rs.10/- (or any denomination available)

The registration fee structure for new HWM members is as follows:
