

UCCI member’s have come forward with great enthusiasm to face the challenges posed by this global pandemic. The COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund was created by the initiative of President Shri Ramesh Kumar Singhvi and the Executive Committee of 2019-20 sprang to action. With the generous contributions of UCCI members, we supported the relief efforts of the District Administration of Udaipur in dealing with the distribution of food to the needy and arrangements of medical equipment, masks, PPE kits etc. for the medical & healthcare personnel. Many UCCI members put personal efforts to provide relief to those in need during this crisis.
Office Bearers of UCCI including President Shri Ramesh Kumar Singhvi, Vice President Shri Manish Galundia and Hony. Secretary General CA Shri Prateek Hinger and UCCI Staff worked as a team to reach out to various authorities to support the relief work as well as to give suggestions on how to deal with the effects of COVID-19 on the economy. Throughout the lockdown period UCCI sent several representations to both Central & State Governments on various challenges faced by the industry and trade.

As the lockdowns got extended further, the UCCI Team kept working to ensure the delivery of essential items besides supporting the relief work through funds.
A Laryngoscope with viewing monitor unit was donated to RNT Medical college, Udaipur by UCCI President Shri Ramesh Kumar Singhvi and Vice President Shri Manish Galundia. The device was donated on behalf of UCCI to the medical college who’s Principal Dr. Lakhan ji Poswal received it. Dr. Lalit Regar of anesthesia department was also present.
