Excellence Awards 2021
In its 5th year, the awards were met with initial challenges to organise due the global Coronavirus pandemic. Consequentially, the awards ceremoney was delayed and could not be held on UCCI's Foundation Day, i.e. of 12th February as per tradition. The function for “UCCI Excellence Awards 2021” was finally organised on the 4th December 2021. Chief Guest of the function Shri Rajendra Bhatt, IAS - Divisional Commissioner, Udaipur and UCCI President Shri Komal Kothari felicitated those Entrepreneurs who have demonstrated exemplary performance in the field of their respective businesses.
UCCI Members, Winners and Finalists from all 9 categories of the awards, Government Officials and prominent entrepreneurs from the 8 districts of Southern Rajasthan viz.. Udaipur, Sirohi, Dungarpur, Banswara, Chittorgarh, Rajasamand, Bhilwara and Pratapgarh were invited to the function. Shri Komal Kothari, President, UCCI, welcomed the guests, Shri Manish Godha, Coordinator for Excellence Awards Committee gave the introductions to the awards, Shri C. P. Talesara, Chairman of Awards Committee in his address explained the journey of the awards 2021. Chief Guest for the event Shri Rajendra Bhatt gave his keynote address to the audience. Lastly, Hony. Secretary General, Shri Sandeep Bapna gave the vote of thanks. The coordination of the event and the program was done by Dr. Anshu Kothari. Radio City's Senior RJ Kapil and RJ Damini were the Masters of the Ceremony for the event.

Shri Rajendra Bhatt, IAS - Divisional Commissioner, Udaipur
A recognition and that too duly endorsed, makes it worth celebrating what it is and who other than a senior IAS Officer, proficient impactful bureaucrat who has been a District Collector, Bhilwara and now the Divisional Commissioner, Udaipur. Born and brought up in a humble family in Jodhpur, Rajendra has reached the culmination point of his career while being the DM of Bhilwada. He is credited to have done wonder in controlling the COVID-19 outbreak in the district. A quick rise in the cases made Bhilwara an area of concern. However, the quick and proactive steps taken by Rajendra Bhatt sb. along with Tina Dabi (SDM) changed the scenario within two weeks. Bhilwara model is being talked about as an effective way to check the spread of Covid – 19 pandemic.

JK Tyre & Industries is a pioneer in tyre technology in India. They are a brand which does not need any introduction. It is their astonishing commitment to the social welfare which has led to them to be the winner of this award for 3 years consecutively which is extraordinary.
This category experienced some tough scrutiny this year by the jury. No other contestant this year received President’s Certificate for this category.

Being one of the biggest manufacturers of tyres in the world, JK Tyre has shown remarkable innovation and brand presence in their field. This year their winning this award also setup tall standards for the applicants in this category.
Rama Phosphates Limited, Udaipur and last year's winner in this category Sudiva Spinners Private Limited, Bhilwara were finalists this year and they received the President's Certificates.

Other contestants in the race this year included Esprit Stones Private Limited, Udaipur and Tempsens Instruments India Private Limited, Udaipur. Both of them received the President’s Certificate in this category.

Singhal Foundation Manufacturing Award for Small Enterprises went to Accurate Sensing Technologies Private Limited, Udaipur. This company specializes in temperature sensing equipment and has built its position in this niche field of technology in a very short time. The company is headed by very growth minded second generation entrepreneurs. It is worth mentioning that they had won the President’s Certificate for this category last year.

They won this award jointly with Dev Group.
Wonder Cement Manufacturing Award – Micro Enterprise
This year the Service Award for Micro Enterprises was awarded jointly to Dev Group, Udaipur and Vaishnav Food Products, Udaipur. Dev Group is into prescious and semi-presicious stone processing. Their unique products could very well be categorized as art pieces. Their gem stone work is getting good recognition in the foreign countries. This makes them as one of the exporters doing well from Udaipur.
We are also pleased to inform that another finalist in this category Siddharth Marmo Private Limited, Rajsamand received the President's Certificate.
UCCI Excellence Awards Sub Committee 2021
This year PP Shri C. P. Talesara was the Chairman of the UCCI Excellence Awards Committee and PP Shri Vinod Kumat was the Co-Chairman. UCCI President Shri Komal Kothari encouraged the committee to take decisions to break the awards application process into 2 stages. The Stage-1 became a registration step where only basic information is asked for shortlisting of candidates. In the Stage-2 those shortlisted are asked to submit detailed application. Committee comprised of Shri. Sanjay Singhal, Prof. Janat Shah, Shri. N.K.Pande, Smt. Haseena Chakkiwala, Shri. Manish Godha, Shri.Madhukar Dubey and Smt. Ruchika Godha as members.
